IV. POLICIES
AND GUIDELINES FOR STUDENT CONDUCT AT CIMARRON HIGH SCHOOL
Our goal at Cimarron High School is to maintain a pleasant
yet well disciplined learning environment based on mutual
respect between staff and students. We expect students
to be fully aware of, and to carry out, their duties and responsibilities
as partners in the educational process.
A. General 1General
Guidelines for Student Conduct
Cimarron High School is, in itself, a small community engaged
in the serious and important business of education.
Standards for student conduct are based on the premise that
all students are entitled to an environment free from harassment
or unsafe practices by those who choose not to take their
responsibilities seriously.
Students should be aware that they are under the district's
jurisdiction from the time they leave for school until the
time they return home. This jurisdiction also includes
any school-sponsored activity, regardless of time or location.
Students are expected to conform to school policies and to
all classroom rules. Failure to comply with the regulations,
which are set forth by the teachers and administration, will
result in disciplinary action.
